THE TRANSACTION IS CHECKED
The POS and savi systems connect to check the promotion is valid and that the contents of the basket meet the rules of the coupon.
RESPONSE IN REAL TIME
The POS screen confirms that the promotion is valid and discount applied. The data is also passed directly from the retailer back to the brand for financial reconciliation.
THE COUPON IS BURNED
If the mobile coupon is presented as a unique customised barcode, this code is burned so that the same coupon cannot be reused.
