Challenge

Our client came to us looking for a cost-effective way to connect with consumers and market their new product. They wanted a solution that would enable customers to engage with their product, in the store of their choice.

Strategy

We proposed using social media to advertise a high-value discount which would grab attention and drive traffic to the client’s site. We could then use the site to convert, identifying the customer and drive value for the immediate product launch and future campaigns.

Solution

The brand published the discount on Facebook. From there, consumers were directed to the client’s website where they could enter their email address and accept marketing permissions. We generated emails with unique links to coupons for consumers to print at home and use against a free version of the product.

Result

Not only did the brand achieve their sales targets but they also captured additional social followers and contacts for their CRM database. 200 coupons were given away over period of 10 days with daily targets reached within 30 minutes each day. The campaign was such a success that the brand has repeated the campaign format for other products in its range.
